Prizes and Publicity
The eleven categories of the Interior Awards are judged by our renowned jury, made up of distinguished influencers within the design community. Once entries are received, they are then pared back by our jury to a shortlist of three finalists in each category. These 33 or so finalists are then promoted via our industry e-newsletters, websites and social channels.
The next stage is the live streaming of the in-person presentations, which are broadcast on Vimeo and via our own ArchitectureNow website. This unique and important part of the programme has been streamed by thousands across the country and the globe.
Each category winner will receive an exclusive Interior Awards trophy and will be featured and recognised across AGM’s digital platforms. Winners and finalists are featured in the industry bible Architecture New Zealand and are permanent additions to the ArchitectureNow awards gallery. Further social media coverage, Radio NZ interviews and television coverage have all been featured as part of the Interior Awards media campaigns.
The estimated annual value of the media coverage generated by the Interior Awards is over $300,000 NZD.
