An entry shall be excluded from the programme:

  • If it is received after the advertised closing date.
  • If it does not fulfil these entry conditions.
  • If it is incomplete or doesn’t conform to the correct format as specified.

The Organiser is committed to providing a quality awards programme and makes every attempt to ensure accuracy, currency and reliability of the information included on this website and elsewhere. However, changes in content and process may become necessary at the absolute discretion of the Organiser. The Organiser accepts no liability for any use of the said content or reliance placed upon it.


  • Any New Zealand-based design professional may enter, including interior designers, interior decorators, interior architects, architects and all other design professionals. Entries are encouraged from individuals, groups, partnerships and those working in larger practices.
  • Projects entered need to have been completed and delivered to client between September 2021 and April 2024.
  • Projects entered can be in collaboration with overseas design partners but must be entered by the New Zealand-based practice.
  • Projects must be credited to the design company that delivered the project to the client at the time of project completion.
  • Projects may be entered in more than one category, where appropriate (separate submission and entry fee required).
  • Finalists must present projects in person to the Interior Awards jury.

Tickets are non-refundable.

Only in the case that the event is cancelled will we issue a refund.
