Entry Fees:
Community Impact Category – cost is $84 including GST
All other award categories – Cost is $169 including GST
Live Presentations
Finalists announced – From Thursday 8th May to Monday 12th May 2025
Live presentations streamed on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd May 2025.
Please note that to be a finalist you must be PRESENT IN PERSON at the live judging event to present your submission.
Awards Night
Category Winners and Supreme Award are revealed on the Awards Night. All Finalists should be present to celebrate.
Thursday 26th June 2025 6:30pm – 10:30pm

- for the Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare and Wellness, Education, Workplace, Civic, Residential, Residential Kitchen categories
- for the Emerging Design Professional category
- for the Community Impact category
Criteria
- Any New Zealand-based design professional may enter, including interior designers, interior decorators, interior architects, architects, architectural designers and all other design professionals.
- Entries are encouraged from individuals, groups, partnerships and those working in larger practices.
- Projects entered need to have been completed and delivered to client between September 2023 and April 2025. Residential projects entered (residential, kitchen) need to have been completed by April 2023 to April 2025.
- Projects outside of New Zealand can be entered, although the principal design practice must be a New Zealand-based firm.
- The following categories are eligible for the Supreme Award: Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare & Wellness, Workplace, Education, Residential, Residential Kitchen and Civic.
- Projects entered can be in collaboration with overseas design partners but must be entered by the New Zealand-based practice.
- Projects must be credited to the design company that delivered the project to the client at the time of project completion.
- Projects may be entered in more than one category, where appropriate (separate submission and entry fee apply).
